Beşiktaş win critical league match but lose Cenk Tosun
Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş earned a crucial 4-2 victory against Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor on April 11 to extend their lead at the top of the league.
Beşiktaş returned to Istanbul with three points, but the team was saddened over an incident involving their Turkish forward Cenk Tosun, who suffered a serious knee injury in the away game.
Beşiktaş hammer Çaykur Rizespor 6-0 in Süper Lig
Beşiktaş striker Cyle Larin netted four goals in Jan. 6's evening's Turkish Süper Lig game to lead the Black-Eagles to a 6-0 win over Çaykur Rizespor.
Playing at Istanbul's Vodafone Park stadium, Larin scored the opener in the 19th minute.
In minute 31, The Black-Eagles doubled the lead when Canadian forward Larin scored another goal, the first half ended 2-0.

Başakşehir beats Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş wins
A goal in the dying minutes gave last season's runner-up Başakşehir its first-ever league victory at Fenerbahçe on Sept. 9, while defending champion Beşiktaş also won in the Turkish Super League.
Başakşehir went ahead as early as the second minute of the game when Joseph Attamah headed in a ball crossed by veteran midfielder Emre Belözoğlu from the corner kick spot.
