October 2007 clashes in Hakkâri

Some 5,359 militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed, caught or wounded in anti-terror operations since July 22, while some 355 security officials have lost their lives in terror attacks over the same period, President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has stated. 

Turkey has delivered an official protest note to Belgium for allowing the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to set up a tent in Brussels, urging Belgian authorities to swiftly remove the tent and to prevent the organization's activities on its soil.

The second day of anti-terror marches protesting the deadly attacks conducted by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on Turkish security officials resulted in violence across the country.

Ultranationalist protesters attacked on Tuesday the headquarters of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in Ankara and local offices across the country.
