Boeing from Olympic Airways heyday exhibited in Elliniko
Α new tourist attraction was created at the site of the former airport at Elliniko, southern Athens, where an old Boeing B727/284 Mount Olympus aircraft has been given a new lease of life as an exhibit.
Monuments to the Onasis era of Olympic Airways
The Mount Olympus, an old Boeing 727 of Olympic Airways, which was founded by Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis in 1957, has been dismantled 24 years after it stopped flying so that it could be moved to its new home, on Vouliagmenis Avenue, a few meters from the Elliniko metro stop.

HATTA confident of no problems with visitor numbers
The president of the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA), Lysandros Tsilidis, has said that the summer season and especially August is not expected to see a drop in tourism flows to Greece as a result of the wildfires on Rhodes and other destinations.
Olympic Airways collection awaits museum home
The breakfast served in first class on the Olympic Airways flight from Zurich to Rome on October 26, 1967 was special, as was one of the passengers. Ecumenical Patriarch Athenagoras was on his way to his last meeting with Pope Paul VI, continuing the historical dialogue between the Catholic and Orthodox churches that had begun in 1964.

Strike to disrupt domestic flights in Greece
Dozens of Greek domestic flights are to be canceled after the union representing aviation workers, OSYPA, called a strike from 10 a.m. on Thursday to midnight on Friday.
Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air said they were canceling around 70 flights.
Passengers due to travel should contact their airlines for information.
