WWII missile found in Thessaloniki
A road lane in the northern port city of Thessaloniki was closed to traffic Tuesday afternoon after an object suspected of being a World War II-era missile was found by workers during restoration work on a listed building.

Lycian artifacts at new museum draw tourists
The Lycian Civilizations Museum, opened last year in the southern province of Antalya's Demre district, has been displaying artifacts indoors and outside.
A total of 1009 artifacts unearthed during excavations in the Lycian League cities have been drawing local and foreign tourists to the region.

Hotel construction in Phaselis canceled
After the remains of historic structures and human skeletons were found in the ancient city of Phaselis, located along the Mediterranean coast, the construction of a five-star hotel near the ancient city has been canceled by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs.
Phaselis is also located within the Beyda?lar? Olympos National Park and aims to enter UNESCO's world heritage list.

Turkish court requests environmental report for five-star hotel near ancient coastal city
A Turkish administrative court has requested an environment impact assessment report (ÇED) for the construction of a five-star hotel near the ancient city of Phaselis along the Mediterranean coast, invalidating a previous decision by the Environment Ministry to exempt the project from the mandatory assessment process.
