Bulgaria: A Man Died after his Truck fell off a Bridge in the Kotlen Pass

A truck driver died on the spot after falling with the vehicle from a bridge on the road between Gradec and Kotel. The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. last night.

The truck was driven by a 53-year-old Turkish citizen.

According to initial data, in the corner area, the driver lost control, left the roadway and fell into the bed of the "Kotleshnitsa River".

Bulgaria: All Traffic through 'Prohodа na Republiкata' Mountain Pass Stopped

From today until the end of the month, the travel of all motor vehicles through the Pass of the Republic will be stopped.

This was reported by the Bulgarian Road Agency. The traffic will be diverted through the Shipka, Rishki and Kotlenski passes.

The cars will pass through the Shipka pass, and the trucks will be redirected on the road Shumen-Karnobat and Omurtag-Kotel.

KAI Group, the largest Bulgarian manufacturer of ceramic tiles, has been acquired by leading global flooring manufacturer Mohawk Industries.

The previous owner of KAI Group, investment fund Advent International, is selling the company 7 years after acquiring it.
