Turkish, Finnish flag carriers sign codeshare deal
Flag carriers of Turkey and Finland have signed a codeshare agreement to expand destinations in networks of both Turkish Airlines and Finnair.
Set to begin on Sept. 29, the deal on flights between Istanbul and Helsinki and beyond will open up new destinations for travelers, Turkish Airlines said in a statement on Sept. 23.

Russia's S7 Airlines Mulls Acquiring Stake in Bulgarian Air Carrier
Russian company S7 Airlines is considering a possible entry into the shareholding structure of an unnamed Bulgarian air carrier to conduct flights from Moscow to Europe via Ukraine, TASS reported on Thursday.
There are several Bulgarian airlines operating in the market which could be sold, the Russian news agency quoted S7 Airlines co-owner Natalia Fileva as saying to reporters.

British Airways adds flights to Greek islands of Kos and Corfu from May
British Airways has reportedly announced that it will be adding new flights to popular Mediterranean destinations, including the Greek islands of Kos in the eastern Aegean and Corfu in the northern Ionian, Breaking Travel News website said on Thursday.
The new routes, which also include Olbia in Sardinia and Split in Croatia will be launched on May 1, 2015.

Lufthansa Pilots Call Off Tuesday Strike
The pilots of Germany's biggest airline, Lufthansa, have called off a strike at Frankfurt airport scheduled for Tuesday.
The pilots had planned to walk out on long-haul flights leaving from Frankfurt Airport, according to reports of DPA.
Tuesday's strike was expected to be the fourth one in three weeks, with pilots opposing an early retirement scheme proposed by the airline.

British Airways to fly direct to Myconos, Santorini
British Airways will operate direct flights from Londons Heathrow Airport to the Greek islands of Myconos and Santorini for the high season starting on May 3. The airliner has also added a Thessaloniki-London Gatwick Airport service four times a week.
