Possible to grow field crops in flood-hit areas
BELGRADE - The first results of soil tests show that it will be possible to grow field crops in the areas affected by the recent severe floods, but as for vegetables the situation is still uncertain, Head of the Plant Protection Directorate Ferenc Bagi said on Wednesday.

Area under organic farming up by 16 per cent
BELGRADE - The area under organic farming in Serbia increased by 16 per cent last year compared to 2012, reaching 7,200 hectares, indicate the latest preliminary data released by the association Serbia Organica.
This refers to farms that already gained full organic status and to areas in conversion.
