Guatemala's electoral court insisted Friday the results of elections won by anti-graft candidate Bernardo Arevalo were "unchangeable", after the prosecutor's office sought to annul them amid accusations of an "attempted coup."

Twenty-five countries have pledged $100 million in aid to crisis-hit Venezuela, US national security advisor John Bolton announced Thursday following an Organization of American States conference on assisting the crisis-hit country, according to news18.com

The Venezuelan foreign minister announced the country will withdraw from the Organization of American States (OAS) after it voted to call an emergency meeting of foreign ministers without Caracas' approval.

All members of the Organization of American States (OAS) and Serbia share the same international principles, including the respect of territorial integrity.

That is what OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro said on Saturday in Belgrade.

The World Health Organization on June 30 declared Cuba the first country in the world to eliminate the transmission of HIV and syphilis from mother to child. 

Venezuela's president Nicolas Maduro said he cuts the diplomatic and commercial ties with Panama, because of “a conspiracy” against him. 

In a speech marking the anniversary of the death of his predecessor Hugo Chavez, Maduro said Panama was trying to pressure him.
