Regional rivals join forces: Greece, Turkey in OSCE bid

Athens and Ankara are intensifying joint diplomatic efforts to secure Greek and Turkish candidates for two top posts at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Greece has nominated Mania Telalian to head the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, while Turkey has nominated Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioglu for secretary-general.

Vucic to attend European Political Community summit on Thursday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will attend a European Political Community summit at Blenheim Palace near London on Thursday.

It will be the largest conference of European leaders in years.

New UK PM Keir Starmer will host around 45 leaders of EU member states, membership candidates and other countries bordering on the EU.

Brnabic meets with ODIHR's Zannier

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with the head of the ODIHR election observation mission, Lamberto Zannier, on Friday to discuss dialogue between political groups in the Serbian parliament, which she noted had resulted in a broader social consensus on implementation of ODIHR recommendations for improvement of electoral conditions.
