Turks hope to advance in Europa League

Two Turkish teams will be at home on Feb. 23, hoping to advance to the next round of the Europa League competition.

Spor Toto Super League leader Beşiktaş will play Israel's Hapoel Beer Sheva in Istanbul in the return leg following a 3-1 victory, while Osmanlıspor will play Greek side Olympiacos in Ankara following a goalless draw in the first leg.

Europa-worn teams to clash in Turkish league

Osmanlıspor and Fenerbahçe will clash this weekend in the Spor Toto Super League, immediately on the heels of separate Europa League clashes on Sept. 29.
Fenerbahçe left the Şükrü Saraçoğlu pitch in Istanbul happy after beating Feyenoord 1-0 while Osmanlıspor left its unbeaten record in Zurich, losing 2-1 to the home side.

Europa dream begins for Turkish teams

Fenerbahçe, whose new coach won the UEFAEurope League with Zenit in 2008, will kick off its campaign with a Group A encounter with Ukraine's Zorya, while Osmanlıspor, the other Turkish team in the competition, will take on Steaua Bucureşti.

Zorya Luhansk will face a stern test in their debut match in a UEFA group stage when it plays host to European regular Fenerbahçe.
