A rocket fired from the war-torn Gaza Strip fell in the sea off Israel's Tel Aviv on Tuesday, Israel's army said, as Hamas militants announced their first attack on the city in months.

Israeli warplanes on May 12 launched violent attacks on the security centers and police headquarters of Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of bombs were dropped within a few minutes in the south, north, and central parts of the Gaza Strip, Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Anti-Hamas jihadists vow to fire rockets at Israelis
Jihadists in the Gaza Strip have threatened to fire rockets at Israel in response to a Hamas crackdown on extremists in the Palestinian territory.
The threat came in reaction to the arrest of militants suspected of targeting members of Hamas's armed wing on July 19 with a series of bombings.
Hamas says it fired three rockets at Israel airport
Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas said July 25 it fired three rockets at Tel Aviv airport, a day after US and some European airlines had resumed flights after a two-day suspension.
"At 11:45 am (0845 GMT), the Qassam Brigades bombarded Ben Gurion airport with three M75 rockets," a statement from Hamas's armed wing said.
