Palestinian armed wing calls for attacks on Israel
The armed wing of Gaza-based resistance faction Islamic Jihad called on Palestinians on Feb. 7 to attack Israeli military checkpoints.
"We call for comprehensive and direct conflict as long as the opportunities are available and to embark on the path of fighting and freedom," Abu Hamza, the spokesperson of the al-Quds Brigades, said on Twitter.

Car Bomb Attack in Jerusalem, 14 People were Injured
14 people, most of them Israeli soldiers, were injured in a car bomb attack in Jerusalem, the French press reported, citing Israeli authorities. The attack was carried out in a lively area with many bars and restaurants.
12 Israeli soldiers injured in car-ramming attack
At least 12 Israeli soldiers were injured in a car-ramming attack in Western Jerusalem on Feb. 6 morning, Israeli army said.
In a statement, the Israel Defence Forces said a "Palestinian" rammed his car into a group of IDF soldiers in Jerusalem.

After the ceasefire agreement - sirens sounded again
An Egyptian source and a senior Islamic Jihad official told AFP that a ceasefire came into effect early on Thursday.
The "ceasefire agreement comes as a result of Egypt's efforts" and has been endorsed by "Palestinian factions including Islamic Jihad", said the top Egyptian official.
An Islamic Jihad source confirmed the agreement to AFP.
