The First "Bile Fest" - Herbs Dedicated Festival Will Be Held on the St. Anastasia Island in Bourgas

The island of Saint Anastasia will welcome guests with folk rituals for health and fertility in the first edition of the "Bile Fest", a heraldic festival, announced Burgas Municipality.

More than 50 participants will take part in the event with herbs and healthy foods, curative extracts and ointments, and will show the authentic ways of preparing them.

Internationally Renowned Tenor José Carreras Arrives in Sofia for his Concert

The world famous Spanish tenor José Carreras arrived in Sofia on May 8 for his concert, which will take place on May 11 in Area Aremeec Hall. It will be a farewell of the maestro with the Bulgarian audience, reports BNT. 

Carreras and his team will stay in Sofia for four days, with three of them dedicated to rehearsals with the Sofia Opera and Ballet Orchestra.

Malta held a unique celebration to mark the 120 years of Pancho Vladigerov

Bulgarian culture and education has been widely supported in the past four years in Malta by no less the H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the President of the Republic of Malta. On 11th March 2019 H.E. President Coleiro Preca hosted a concert to mark the 120th years from the birth of the Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov at her official residence at San Anton Palace.

A to Jazz Festival to Spread Jazz Spirit in Sofia Between 7 - 9th of July

For the 7th year running the A to Jazz festival is presenting a delightful programme, featuring some of the top names in world jazz, as well as elite Bulgarian musicians.

From 7 to 8 July, audiences will be able to enjoy four concerts each night at the open-air stage in Southern Park 2 in Sofia, between the Earth and People Museum and Spartak swimming pool.
