An immersive audiovisual production with philosophical implications was shown Monday on the occasion of the inauguration of the upgraded image and sound systems of the New Digital Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, which now has a fourth-generation projection system with a total resolution of 7.5K, multiplying the brightness and quality of the image.

Ex-finance minister appointed non-exec president at ELPE
Yiannis Papathanasiou, Greece's economy and finance minister in the conservative government led by Costas Karamanlis, has been appointed non-executive president of Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE), the country's biggest oil refiner, the government has said.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Andreas Siamisiis, who was until now deputy CEO at the company, will become chief executive officer.

The oil slik caused near the island of Salamina on Sunday when crude oil tanker “Agia Zoni II” sank has spread to the port of Piraeus. The pollution reached the region of Frettyda, a residential area in Piraeus located in the southeastern part of the city near the Zea harbour.
