The government has withdrawn a bill aimed at enacting Prime Minister Robert Golob's much criticised promise for judges and prosecutors to receive a monthly bonus of €600 gross.

Almost from the very beginning, the session was tense, because the representatives of the opposition constantly threw insults at Vui during his introductory speech, for which the Speaker of the Parliament, Vladimir Orli, warned them several times. Also, the representatives of the opposition brought several banners into the hall.
On one of them was written "No capitulation".

BELGRADE - The Serbian government has tabled to MPs a Report on the Talks Process with Institutions of the Interim Self-Government Authorities in Pristina from September 1, 2022 to January 15, 2023, the Serbian parliament said on its official website.

As announced earlier, MPs will debate the report from February 2.

The Hellenic Parliament's democratic parties must agree on the handling of those convicted of running a criminal organization. 

Although the relevant debate has opened very close to the general elections, there is no room for calculations and political expediencies. 

Together, they must all find a way to protect the institution of Parliament and public life.

The Greek government has announced that it will submit to Parliament a series of bills ahead of the general elections, whenever they are held.

Ljubljana – The National Assembly has voted down a proposal by the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, to reverse the ban on mayors serving as MPs.

In proposing the overturn in November last year, councillors argued the ban had no basis in the constitution or the law.

Parliament speaker Talat Xhaferi has dismissed an opposition motion for a referendum on the 2017 friendship treaty with Bulgaria, which the opposition deems the source of Bulgaria's aggressive demands.

Ljubljana – The National Assembly is meeting on Thursday to pass several high-profile pieces of legislation, including an emergency bill to tackle long wait times in healthcare, a new bill on the public broadcaster and a bill sponsored by an NGO and backed by nearly 15,000 voters that would repeal changes made by the previous government to 11 laws.

The next parliamentary stage is its approval by the plenary session of the Parliament, which is estimated to happen by the end of July
