Parties contesting the June 2015 Turkish general election

The ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) organized a large rally in solidarity with Palestine, on Oct. 28 at Atatürk Airport.

The rally aimed to draw attention to what the organizers have described as "Israeli brutality" in the region.

President and AKP leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the rally.

A total of 13 out of 26 political parties that submitted their parliamentary candidate lists to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) will enter May 14 elections on their own, while 13 others will run under alliances.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli reacted against the critics for support of The Free Cause Party (Hüda Par) to People's Alliance and said the party has no links to the militant Islamist group Hizballah.
