Largest data leak exposes 10 bln passwords
A massive dataset of almost 10 billion passwords has been shared on the dark Web in what is being called the largest password leak in history.
Dubbed "RockYou2024," the leak compiles passwords from both old data breaches from an earlier credentials database known as "RockYou2021," which featured 8.4 billion passwords, and around 1.5 billion new passwords.

US tech titans look to ditch passwords
Apple, Google and Microsoft said Thursday they are looking to get rid of passwords and replace them with a more secure way to access accounts or devices.
The U.S. tech titans jointly announced support for a common standard that will let people sign in by unlocking their mobile phones, say, with fingerprint or face recognition.

Facebook's internal investigation has found new compromised personal data of website's users. Three million people are affected this time, whose data have been taken from the University of Cambridge, ''New Scientist'' reported.
