From September 30th, applications for the acquisition of public properties held by the State
On September 30, applications for the acquisition of state-owned properties by individuals in 20 regional units of the country will begin, while from October 31, applications will be accepted for properties throughout the country.

Turkey gets 95,373 trademark applications in 1st half of 2021
The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TurkPatent) received 95,373 trademark applications in the first half of 2021, official figures showed on July 26.
Of those, 87,919, or 92.2%, were domestic, according to a TurkPatent report.
The office received 8,101 patent applications during the same period - 3,570 domestic and 4,531 foreign.
Screening of Katseli law applications
The activation of the platform for the protection of primary residences will mean that all the debtors who had applied to go under the shield of the so-called Katseli law without fulfilling the required criteria will henceforth be on their own.

China pushed global patent filings to record high in 2016: UN
Global patent filings hit record highs last year, with China leading the charge, receiving more patent applications than the United States, Japan, South Korea and the EU combined, the U.N. said on Dec. 6.
