The regime for winter road conditions will be introduced as of November 1, stated Regional Development Minister Lilyana Pavlova at a press conference on the measures adopted by the Road Infrastruture Agency (API) regarding the winter maintenance of republican roads.

"It is with profound sorrow that I announce that the leader of the Bulgarian Union of Banat and the most prominent figure in contemporary Bulgarian life in Romania General Nikolai Mirkovic passed away on Saturday night," said Professor Plamen Pavlov from the Veliko Tarnovo University.
