RTB Bor is a copper mining and smelting complex located in eastern Serbia.

Brnabic, who began the visit to the Majdanpek municipality by visiting Majdanpek Copper Mines, which is part of RTB Bor, pointed out that the deadline for bids expires on August 20, adding that she still cannot say how many companies bought the documentation, the government said on its website.

More than 50 employees of several opposition media outlets that were recently placed under the management of a trustee panel have been relieved of their duties, daily Hürriyet has reported.

The process leading to the appointment of a board of trustees to manage the Koza-?pek Group, which has seen 23 of its companies seized by a local court as part of a crackdown on followers of the government's ally-turned-nemesis Fethullah Gülen, is "entirely legal," Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has said.

Turkey's top business group has expressed "serious concerns" over the fate of press freedom and the security of the judiciary after the seizure of two televisions and newspapers owned by the Koza-?pek Group in a statement on Oct. 28. 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has seemingly justified the appointment of a trustee board to manage the Koza-?pek group, 23 companies of which have been seized by a local court as part of a crackdown on followers of the government's ally-turned-nemesis Fethullah Gülen.

Just hours after a trustee panel shut down two television channels belonging to the Koza-?pek Group, dailies Bugün and Millet had their printing halted in the late hours of Oct. 28.  

An Ankara court approved a demand by the prosecutor's office on Oct. 27 to seize administration of the Koza-?pek business group, upon suspicion that it is "financing terrorism," as part of an investigation ongoing since Sept. 1. The court decision came despite an inspection report saying no irregularities were found in the company records.

It has been decided a trustee panel will be appointed to replace the current board of directors of Koza ?pek, a corporation linked to the government's ally-turned-nemesis, U.S.-based Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen, upon the request of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Oct. 26.

Ankara Eighth Criminal Court of Peace has issued an arrest warrant in absentia for Ak?n ?pek, the chairman of Koza ?pek, a company with links to the Justice and Development Party?s (AKP) ally-turned-foe Fethullah Gülen. 

Seven suspects, who were detained as part of the operation launched against Koza ?pek, a company linked to the Turkish government?s ally-turned-nemesis Fethullah Gülen, have been released on probation. 

An Ankara court on Sept. 2 decided to release on probation the seven suspects detained during the Koza ?pek raids.
