When the administration of Antalya Museum began to feed geese in its garden for security to take advantage of their gaggle response to strangers and for natural visualization, they couldn't even guess what they would face.

The researcher and writer Özgen Acar has released a new book called "Çoban Herkül'ü Yordu" (Çoban Tired Heracles), chronicling the unknown facts about the smuggling of historical artifacts in the ancient city of Perge in southern Turkey over the last half century.

A sponsorship campaign initiated to restore columns and artifacts in the ancient city of Perge, which is located 20 kilometers from the city center of the southern province of Antalya, has failed to find support.

The sarcophagus, which was found during illegal excavations in the ancient city of Perge in the southern province of Antalya, was delivered to Culture and Tourism Ministry officials in Geneva on Sept. 13.
