Turkey world's top refugee hosting country: UN
Turkey was the country hosting the most refugees in the world in the first half of 2015, with 1.8 million registered refugees on its territory as of June 30, according to a new U.N. report.

Young student stabbed by two youths at Korydallos
A high school student was stabbed by two of his classmates in the Piraeus suburb of Korydallos early on Monday. The boy’s high school principal told Proto Thema that the student said he was unaware of the reason he was attacked. The boy claims that there had been no previous incidents of harrassment or an argument between himself and the other two students that stabbed him.

The number of people going away from their homes has increased by 8,3 million since 2013, marking the biggest increase in history, according to a recent UNHCR global trends report, entitled ''World at War''.

Parents of bully victim Vangelis Giakoumakis, who committed suicide after being hazed by students of the Dairy School of Ioannina, have decided to start legal action against the education facility’s administration. The Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA) was an Armenian terrorist organization that operated from 1975 until the early 1990s. It conducted a series of assassinations against Turks throughout the 1970 and 1980s, killing 46 and injuring 299 people. Some 42 of the assassinated were Turkish diplomats.
