Israel favors gas exports through Turkey
The only route big enough for Israel's gas exportation is a country like Turkey which is capable of providing infrastructure and further exportation to the West, Shai Cohen, the Consul-General of Israel in Istanbul has said.

Licenses required for two lines of Turkish Stream project: Russian energy minister
Russia requires construction licenses for at least two lines of the proposed Turkish Stream pipeline project, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Oct. 2.
The Turkish Stream pipeline replaces the cancelled South Stream project to carry Russian gas to Europe and Turkey via the Black Sea. At the moment, Europe gets a lot of its gas from Russia through Ukraine.
Gazprom denies rumors of cancelation of Turkish Stream
Russian energy producer Gazprom on Sept. 7 denied rumors the Turkish Stream pipeline project had been cancelled by Turkey.
Alexander Medvedev, deputy chairman of the management committee at Gazprom, said the company agreed with Turkey to initially come to an agreement concerning branch 1 before looking at the other branches.
Oil pipeline attacked in eastern Turkey
The Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline has been attacked in the eastern province of ??rnak, Turkish Energy Taner Y?ld?z said on July 29, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
In a statement released by the Energy Ministry, Y?ld?z said the suspected sabotage bombing took place 18 kilometers inside the Cizre district of ??rnak province, next to the border with Iraq.

Bulgaria wants to build a storage facility for natural gas from the Turkish Stream pipeline project, according to Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
Financing agreed for Turkish Stream in Greece - minister
The Greek section of the Turkish Stream pipeline will cost USD 2 billion, Greek Minister of Energy Panagiotis Lafazanis has said.
He told the Rossiya 24 broadcaster that there is "enormous interest" among Greek companies to build and use the gas pipeline.
