Market focus turns from Nvidia results to US economy
Market attention has turned to upcoming data on the U.S. economy after Nvidia reported its financial results .
Nvidia, one of several companies that have ridden a wave of enthusiasm over artificial intelligence developments, reported earnings on Aug. 28.
The results showed a strong profit, but Nvidia stock fell 2.1 percent, though it is up 153 percent for the year.
Households spend most on rent, transport and food
Housing and rent, transport and food had the largest shares in households' total consumption expenditures last year, a survey by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has shown.
Consumers allocated 23.9 percent of their budget for housing and rent in 2023, the statistics authority said on June 11.

Annual inflation climbs to 67 percent last month
Türkiye's annual inflation rate accelerated from 64.86 percent in January to 67 percent in February, but the pace of monthly inflation increase slowed, the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
Consumer prices advanced 4.53 percent month-on-month, down from 6.7 percent in January.

Serbian February inflation at 16.1 pct y-o-y
BELGRADE - Serbian prices of goods and services used for personal consumption increased by an average of 1.4 pct m-o-m and 16.1 pct y-o-y in February 2023, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.
Relative to December 2022, consumer prices increased by an average of 2.8 pct in February 2023.

Most of households' spending in 2018 went to housing/rent, food and transportation, data from the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜİK) showed on July 26.
