A 25-year-old Afghan citizen has started working as a shepherd in the eastern province of Tunceli to raise enough bride price to marry his beloved he left behind in his home country.

"I will save money and marry the woman I love until the end of summer in Afghanistan," Abdullah Muhammedi told Demirören News Agency on April 20.

Some 50 nature lovers have reached a 2,800-year-old castle located in the middle of Lake Dam Keban in the eastern province of Tunceli by walking to draw attention to the sudden drawdown that occurred in the lake.

The skeleton of a child found in ongoing archaeological excavations in Tozkoparan Mound, a first-degree archaeological site in the Pertek district of the eastern province of Tunceli, is now preserved in the city's newly opened museum.
