Massive blast at chemical plant in Catalan city leaves 1 dead
At least one person has been killed following a huge explosion on Jan. 14 at a petrochemical plant in the industrial Catalan city of Tarragona.
The blast was so strong that it caused a building around three kilometers (about two miles) away to collapse. It was there that the death occurred.

Ministry invites letters of interest for petrochem plants
BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Economy on Thursday issued an invitation for letters of interest for companies in the petrochemical complex - the Kikinda Methanol and Acetic Acid Complex and the Pancevo nitrogen and petrochemical plant.
The invitation was issued pursuant to the Privatisation Act, a conclusion of the government and decisions of the Srbijagas Supervisory Board.
Investors asked to express interest in petrochemical plants
The Serbian Ministry of Economy on Thursday issued an invitation for letters of interest for three companies in the petrochemical complex.
They are the Methanol and Acetic Acid Complex in Kikinda, and the Pancevo-based Nitrogen Plant, and the Petrochemical Industry.
