Police arrest two women over dead baby found in trash
A 19-year-old woman and her 54-year-old mother have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a baby that was found in a street dumpster in the Athens district of Petroupoli in February.
The infant was reportedly wrapped in a sheet when it was discovered by a ragman, who notified police.
Dead baby found at bottom of light shaft
A coroner's examination of a dead baby found at the bottom of a light shaft in an apartment block in the Athens neighborhood of Nea Smyrni on Saturday indicated that the infant was born healthy and died around 12 hours before its body was discovered.

A dead baby was found in a street dumpster in the Athens district of Petroupoli on Monday.
The infant was reportedly wrapped in a sheet when it was discovered by a ragman, who notified police.
