US Again Urges Serbia to Probe Albanian-Americans’ Killings
The US embassy in Belgrade on Thursday said that Washington "cannot and will not forget" the killings of Ylli, Agron, and Mehmet Bytyqi, three US citizens of Albanian origin, on July 9, 1999, and urged a "full investigation".
Newly adopted resolution in the US Congress, the goal - exerting pressure on Serbia
Ylli, Agron, and Mehmet Bytyqi are US citizens of Albanian origin, murdered in Serbia in 1999.
As reported by Pristina daily Bota sot, the resolution was readopted with the aim of exerting pressure on Serbia to bring the killers of Bytyqi brothers to justice.
Bytyqi brothers: Until justice is served
They underlined that they will keep fighting for justice until it's served. We want to provide that the perpetrators of this crime will not remain free.
On this day, 20 years ago, Serbian authorities had killed three U.S. citizens and dumped them into the mass grave. "We will seek justice until it's served", it is said in a brief statement on the Bytyqi family website.

"I'm neither interested in nor affected by US decision"
The decision in question banns the former commander of the Serbian Gendarmerie from entering the United States.
It was previously announced that the decision was made because of Radosavljevic's (alleged) involvement in the case of the Bytyqi brothers. The same decision applies to his wife and daughter.
US Bars Serbian Ex-Commander Over Kosovo Crimes
The US State Department said on Tuesday that it is designating Goran Radosavljevic ineligible to enter the country due to what it alleged was "his involvement in gross violations of human rights".

FHP calls on authorities to solve murders of Bytyqi brothers
The brothers Bytyqi traveled to Serbia to fight in the ranks of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the 1999 war in Kosovo. They were captured by Serbian authorities shortly after the war and sentenced to 15 days in prison for having illegally crossed the state border between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Albania.
Austrians photograph minors, sell pictures to pedophiles
Two Austrians, a man and a woman, have been arrested in Backo Petrovo Selo in northern Serbia on charges of paying minors to take their photographs.
They are suspected of then selling this content online to pedophiles.
Bytyqi murder case remains unresolved
The unresolved murder of the Bytyqi brothers is an obstacle in relations between Serbia and the U.S.
They were U.S. citizens whose bodies were found in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo.
