Football Championship in Bulgaria to be Resumed on 5 June
The Bulgarian Football Union's expert working group has taken a decision to resume the first league championship on 5 June, and the training process - as of mid-May.
If the 2019/2020 season is completed, the finals of the Bulgarian Supercup are to take place on 22 July, and the start of season 2020/2021 is to be given on 25 July.

The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has submitted an indictment against Svetla Bachvarova-Piralkova over disadvantageous transactions harming the state in her quality as a former agency official.
In March, Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov submitted to Parliament a request that her immunity be revoked, to which the MP agreed.

CSKA Moscow Loans Bulgaria's Georgi Milanov to Grasshopper Zurich
Bulgarian midfielder Georgi Milanov joined the Swiss club Grasshopper on loan from CSKA Moscow.
Milanov is loaned to the club from Zurich until the end of the season.
The transfer is surprising as Milanov took part in all matches of CSKA Moscow since the beginning of the season.

Bulgarian Football Union's Top Governing Body Upholds Relegation of Litex
The top governing body of the Bulgarian Football Union has upheld the decision of the Union's disciplinary committee to relegate football club Litex Lovech to the country's second division for abandoning their derby against Levski Sofia last year.
The ruling of the disciplinary committee had been upheld earlier by the appellate committee of the Bulgarian Football Union.

The captain of Bulgarian football team Litex Lovech, Strahil Popov, signed on Tuesday a contract with Turkish club Kasimpasa.
Joining Litex in 2008, Popov made nearly 160 appearances for the team from Lovech, in which he scored six goals and recorded 15 assists.

The reigning football champion of the United Arab Emirates, Al-Ain, signed a contract with Colombian winger Danilo Asprilla who used to be one of the leading players of Bulgaria's Litex.
Asprilla moved to the Bulgarian club in 2014, making 78 appearances, scoring 26 goals and recording nearly 20 assists for the team from Lovech.
Portsmouth Football Club Honours Bulgaria's Svetoslav Todorov
English football team Portsmouth honoured retired Bulgarian striker Svetoslav Todorov by admitting him to the club's hall of fame.
The Bulgarian was one of four players to be admitted to the club's hall of fame together with Noel Blake, Dave Kemp and Billy Haines, who was honoured posthumously.
