Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO Allied Command Operations Arrives in Bulgaria
The Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) of NATO Allied Command Operations Curtis Scaparrotti arrives on an official visit to Bulgaria.
He comes at the invitation of Defense Chief Lieutenant General Andrei Botev. During his visit, he will also meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krassimir Karakachanov.
President receives US military delegation led by Breedlove
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday in Belgrade received a delegation of the US Armed Forces.
The delegation was headed by Ret. Gen. Philip Breedlove, the previous NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
PM to meet with NATO's Breedlove, FM cancels
The meeting between Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and NATO's allied commander in Europe Philip Breedlove, scheduled for Friday, has been canceled.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will meet with Breedlove, the government's media office announced today.

NATO's top commanders meet in Istanbul to discuss Ukraine, Syria
NATO?s highest military authority, the Military Committee, will convene in Istanbul for a three-day session starting Sept. 11 to review security challenges in Europe and the Middle East, as well as ongoing operations in Afghanistan.
The meeting will be hosted by Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar.

The West should consider using all its tools to help Ukraine, including sending defensive weapons, NATO's top military commander said on March 22.
Officials in Washington have been discussing whether to send weapons to Ukraine's military to help them fight pro-Russian separatists who NATO says are armed and supported by Moscow.
NATO 'very concerned' by Russian military build-up in Crimea
NATO's top military commander warned Nov. 26 that Russia's "militarisation" of the annexed Crimea region could be used by Moscow to exert control across the whole Black Sea region.
"We are very concerned with the militarisation of Crimea," US General Philip Breedlove told a press conference in Kyiv.

NATO's Europe Commander to Meet Bulgaria DefMin, Chief of Defense
Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Gen Philip Breedlove is on a two-day visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday and Thursday.
Breedlove is due to meet newly-appointed Defense Minister Nikolay Nenchev and Vice Admiral Rumen Nikolov, who became Chief of Defense in June.
He is to lay wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
