Italy's leading dance troupe Komoco will stage "Pupo," the latest creation of the troupe's founder and artistic director, Sofia Nappi, for the first time in Türkiye at Istanbul's CRR Concert Hall.

The show will meet the audience at 8 p.m. tonight and then will meet art lovers in Istanbul once again at the same time tomorrow.

His recent hit film "Elvis" is an Oscars frontrunner, but Tom Hanks was left all shook up yesterday as he earned three nominations from the Razzies, which "celebrate" the year's worst films.

Hanks was short-listed by the tongue-in-cheek awards for his roles as Presley's manager in rock 'n' roll biopic "Elvis," and Geppetto in Disney's critically slated live-action "Pinocchio" remake.

Frayed teddy bears and broken toy cars resurrect under the magic touch of Guido Pacelli, a modern-day Geppetto who works overtime so that Rome's poor and sick children wake up to a gift on Christmas morning.

Cave paintings dating back 1,500 years, including one that looks like the fictional character Pinocchio, have been found in western Turkey.
