Türkiye, Iraq sign cooperation deal on counterterrorism
Türkiye and Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday focused on cooperation in security, military, and counterterrorism efforts, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced.

Prosecutor launches investigation into HDP congress
An investigation was launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Dec. 13 against a Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) congress over pro-PKK slogans.
The Anti-Terrorism Department of the General Directorate of Security said it filed a criminal complaint to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against an HDP congress held in Istanbul.

Erdoğan condemns deadly attack on HDP office
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has condemned an attack on the office of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the western province of İzmir last week in which a woman was killed, labeling it a "provocation."
Onur Gencer stormed the HDP office on June 17 and shot Deniz Poyraz dead. The assailant was arrested shortly after the attack.

Prosecutor launches investigation on HDP lawmakers
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation against Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Deputy Dirayet Dilan Taşdemir on charges of being a member of an armed terrorist organization after Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu claimed that she visited northern Iraq's Gara region where 13 Turks were killed.

Erdogan says European court’s ruling on jailed politician ‘hypocritical’
