The historic center of Athens and the neighborhoods of Exarchia, Koukaki and Neos Cosmos are the areas with the greatest concentration of apartments available for short-term lettings in the Greek capital on Airbnb, according to data compiled by the independent monitoring service Inside Airbnb, which tracks the flow of ads on the online platform.

Many Cyclades museums require upgrades due to growing collections, visitors
The remit of the Ephorate of Cycladic Antiquities may be the group of islands in the Aegean Sea, but its administrative offices are located in one of the most charming parts of old Athens. The entrance faces the Ancient Agora in Plaka. Ephorate director Dimitris Athanasoulis has a view of the Acropolis from his office.
Full Moon at Anafiotika | Athens | June 9
Situated right at the foot of the Athens Acropolis, the Anafiotika neighborhood in Plaka was built by islanders from Anafi who came to the capital to work on the construction of King Otto's palace in the 1830s. On Friday, June 9, a tour will be provided of the picturesque neighborhood under the light of the first full moon of the summer. The tour will begin at 7.30 p.m.

The selection on Tuesday, April 4, is of Nikolaj Arcel's award-winning "A Royal Affair," about a young queen married to a mad king who falls his love with the court physician and helps him start a revolution. The screening starts at 7 p.m.

The Museum of Children's Art is organizing a virtual tour of the Pompidou Center in Paris to learn all about the Dada movement and a workshop on how to turn an ordinary object into art, on Sunday, February 12. The first session, from 11 a.m. to 12.20 p.m., is for children aged 4-6 and costs 17 euros for one child and one adult or 22 euros for two children and one adult.

Experimenting with art
The Jewish Museum of Greece is in a pretty, salmon-colored neoclassical building with gray shutters on Nikis Street, which links Syntagma Square and Plaka in central Athens. I had passed it many times without entering. I finally did so to see the exhibition "FORM/Less" by young artist Maria Fragoudaki. "I was invited by Saranna Biel-Cohen, an American curator who works with the museum.
