Plovdiv Airport has announced the resumption of direct flights to Manchester, with the inaugural flight scheduled to depart on December 14, as reported by Plovdiv24.bg. This development comes thanks to the support from the Development Fund, which has been instrumental in facilitating this service.

A new route will soon link Plovdiv and Birmingham, enhancing travel options between the second largest cities of Bulgaria and the UK. Ryanair has announced that it will operate direct flights between the two cities, with the inaugural flight scheduled for November 2 this year. One-way tickets for the new service start at 35 euros.

The strong wind in Sofia caused delays in flights at Sofia Airport and rerouting of planes, the airport's press center reports.

Low-cost airline Ryanair will resume its flights to/from Plovdiv Airport from/to London Stansted on June 4. They will be performed twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays, respectively from 9:20 pm and 12:25 pm Bulgarian time, Plovdiv Airport reported on their website.
