Turkish climate action team flies flag in Greenland
A Turkish climate action team known as UZMAR act. traveled to Greenland on Jan. 10 to raise awareness about the importance of climate change in the world and Turkey.
The three-member group recorded and observed climate conditions and natural life in the region.
WWF: Population of White Bears Sharply Decreases
To date, the population of white bears is between 22 and 31 thousand, with 60% of them on Canadian territory.
The World Wildlife Fund warns that if global warming continues to spread at such a rate, the polar bears will drop by 30% over the next 35 years.

Hotter seas threaten marine wildlife with extinction
Polar bears and other iconic animals could be extinct by the end of the century if ocean temperatures continue to rise at the current rate, marine biologists have warned.
Polar Bears 'Running Out of Food'
High-tech tracking collars on nine female polar bears have measured the animals' efforts to find food on the diminishing Arctic ice, writes BBC.
Each bear wore a collar - recording video, location and activity levels - for 8-12 days, while metabolic tracers tracked the bears' energy use.
