Slovenia records 15% excess mortality rate in 2021
Ljubljana – Slovenia recorded an excess mortality rate of 15% last year, when the Covid-19 epidemic was in full swing, the Statistics Office said on Monday. The worst month of 2021 was November, when 49% more people died than the average for the same period in 2015-2019.

According to National Statistics data, at 6 o'clock in the morning 2.290 million were electronically counted, and together with those counted by e personal data collectors a total of over 4.5 million, which is about 65%.

North Macedonia Census-Takers Rush to Complete Head Count
