Cruise tourism set for significant growth

As the international cruise industry prepares for the highly anticipated Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum on April 25-26 in Thessaloniki, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) predicts that the sector will attract up to 33 million passengers in 2023, significantly exceeding the 29.7 million recorded in 2019, the last year before the pandemic.

An American ship with military equipment intended for NATO forces stationed in Bulgaria and Romania has arrived at the port of Alexandroupolis, Greece, reported ANA-MPA, quoted by BTA. The cargo is intended for military training in the Black Sea in Southeast Europe.

First cruise ship of this year arrives in Aydın’s Kuşadası

Norwegian-flagged Viking Sky, the first cruise ship of 2023 in Türkiye, has docked in the Aegean province of Aydın's Kuşadası district.

While some of the tourists disembarked from the ship docking at Ege Port, some took part in tours and visited historical sites such as the Ancient City of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary.
