Suspicious envelopes found at Piraeus courthouse complex examined
The 11 suspicious envelopes found at a Piraeus courthouse complex on Thursday that prompted a mobilization of the police and fire brigade were to be examined Friday by state laboratories.
A preliminary examination by bomb disposal experts on Thursday showed that the envelopes did not contain explosives.
One of the envelopes reportedly contained a powdery substance.

The envelopes - 10 of which were sealed - caused concern among court staff because one of them contained a "suspicious" powder.
Civil Protection Authority says suspicious letters are harmless
The Civil Protection Authority said on Friday that the suspicious envelopes sent to universities around the country this week did not contain any toxic substances, only an industrial adhesive identified in the first letter.
Samples from the letters were analyzed by the General Chemical State Laboratory in Athens.

Four more suspicious envelopes sent to Greek universities
Greek Police (ELAS) was on high alert on Thursday after four more suspicious envelopes turned up in Corfu, Volos, Crete and the polytechnical school campus in the district of Zografou, in Athens.
All parcels were addressed to local universities and appeared to have been sent from India.
Bullets addressed to top revenue official intercepted
Officials at the main post office in Faliro, southern Athens, intercepted an envelope containing three bullets addressed to the general secretary of public revenue, Giorgos Pitsilis, authorities said on Tuesday.
The envelope, which did not carry the sender's name or address, was discovered at 2.30 p.m. at the sorting office.
Suspicious envelope sent to Greek Pentagon
The Greek Pentagon is on alert after a suspicious envelope was sent to the building of the Greek National Defence. The envelope was deemed suspicious during the X-ray screening procedure at the Pentagon main gates. A specialised team from the Greek police was called in after a military handled the envelope following the screening.
