110 ancient child tombs unearthed in China (photos)
A total of 110 tombs dating back more than 2,000 years have been discovered in northern China’s Hebei province.
The tombs were used to bury the remains of children, and archeologists estimate there might be 500 to 700 more such tombs in the surrounding area.

Ancient wreckages discovered on southern coasts in Mersin
Underwater research on the coast of the southern province of Mersin have discovered 18 shipwrecks on a coastline of 100 kilometers. The wreckages date back between 1,000 and 2,700 years.
Ancient theater puppet on display in Turkey's Gaziantep
A unique earthenware puppet baby dating from around 1,500 years B.C. is on exhibition in the Medusa Glass Artifacts Museum in the eastern province of Gaziantep.
The museum authorities stated the earthenware puppet baby was a rare and unique artifact with no other pair in Turkey.
Bulgarian Archaeology 2016 to Feature Last Year's Most Thrilling Finds
A temporary exhibition highlighting the most interesting discoveries of 2016 will be hosted by the National Institute of Archaeology in Sofia, starting Wednesday.
The institute is organizing the event for the tenth year in a row, together with 13 museums from around Bulgaria.

Trucker nabbed smuggling antiquities from Patra port
A 48-year-old truck driver was arrested on Wednesday at Patra port in western Greece after being found in possession of two illegally obtained ancient amphorae just before he was about embark on a ship heading to Italy.
Port authorities found the amphorae concealed in an electrical appliance package and said they were conducting a wider investigation.
