Kosovo Fires Intelligence Chief Over ‘Raid on President’s Safe’

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, in coordination with acting Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, on Thursday dismissed the chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, KIA, Kreshnik Gashi, allegedly for trying to obtain confidential documents from the President's office.

Dacic: Pristina has enough votes to join UNESCO? Big lie

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said late on Thursday that the claim Pristina has enough votes to join UNESCO was "a big lie."

"In all the meetings the president and I have had here, this subject was also discussed," said Dacic, who is in New York as part of the Serbian delegation, led by Aleksandar Vucic, taking part in the UN General Assembly.

Pristina: Signing of law on special war crimes court delayed

The signing of a law that should enable for the formation of a special court for war crimes has been delayed in Kosovo.

Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga should have signed the law by midnight on Tuesday, but several opposition parties during the day asked the Constitutional Court "to appraise its constitutionality."
