Finland Shouldn't Rule Out NATO Membership, PM Says

Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb has argued the next government in Helsinki should bear in mind the option to seek NATO membership.

Upon taking office last year after the resignation of Jyrki Katainen, Stubb had ruled out any prospect that his cabinet might take such a step, even though some media reports suggested otherwise.

Dacic confers with Finnish ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred on Monday with Finnish Ambassador to Serbia Pekka Orpana, Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a release.

Ambassador Orpana extended to Dacic the official invitation by Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja to visit Finland.
