‘Prometheus Unbound’: The return of a forgotten masterpiece
The monumental painting "Prometheus Unbound" by Danish artist Carl Bloch, first mentioned in January 2023, is now on display at the Pavlos and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum (CAMU) in Athens.

Prometheus Bound | Athens | June 12 – July 24
The Theater of the No (3 Konstantinou Paleologou) in Athens debuts "Prometheus Bound," an opera featuring Greek composer Panagiotis Karousos' music and libretto based on Aeschylus' tragedy. Running for seven performances until July 24, the opera explores Prometheus' journey with neo-romantic harmony.

Angelina Jolie to make film in Budapest
After more than 10 years, one of Hollywood's most famous actresses returns to Budapest. Angelina Jolie is expected to shoot a film about Maria Callas in Hungary in October, Budapest Reporter has reported.
The last time Jolie was in Budapest was 13 years ago, when she was directing the Golden Globe-nominated film "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
