Prometheus Bound

The Theater of the No (3 Konstantinou Paleologou) in Athens debuts "Prometheus Bound," an opera featuring Greek composer Panagiotis Karousos' music and libretto based on Aeschylus' tragedy. Running for seven performances until July 24, the opera explores Prometheus' journey with neo-romantic harmony.

The Municipal and Regional Theater of Patra presents "Prometheus Bound," Aeschylus' dramatic tragedy that tells the tale of Prometheus, a Titan punished by Zeus for providing fire to humanity.

Unconventional French writer, director and actor Olivier Py presents a modern interpretation of Aeschylus' "Prometheus Bound" and "The Suppliants" at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus as part of the Greek Festival on Friday and Saturday, August 4-5.
