The graduation ceremony was held on Friday in the Propylaea of the University of Athens for eight students who attended the first English-language undergraduate course which began in 2019 - with the subject of archaeology, history and ancient Greek literature. The graduates include students from countries such as China, the US and El Salvador.

Students set up tents in overnight protest for Palestine
Student associations have gathered for an overnight protest in front of the rectorate of the University of Athens, demonstrating solidarity with the Palestinian people and seeking to align their voices with the international student movement.
Students started to set up their tents after 8 p.m. at Propylaea, in Athens, and in Thessaloniki, in front of the White Tower.

At the same time, the Greek Federation of Secondary Education State School Teachers (OLME) has announced a three-hour work stoppage from 11 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon in order for teachers to participate in the demonstrations.

The metro station Panepistimio in central Athens will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday due to a planned protest rally at the Propylaea.
This means the trains will pass from the station without stopping.

Teachers to protest against education bill on Wednesday
Three teachers union will hold a protest rally in central Athens on Wednesday to express their disagreement with a new bill that brings changes to all levels of education which they describe as "neoliberal" and "anti-educational."
