Protests against the Iraq War

At least 12 people have been killed in anti-government protests across Iraq which began earlier this week, hospital sources said on Oct. 3.

Tens of thousands of people marched on Feb. 23 in Paris and other cities and dozens were arrested as France's "yellow vest" movement staged its 15th consecutive weekend of demonstrations against the government.

Canadian Police arrested at least 80 people after an anti-austerity demonstration in Montreal.

Shops and businesses were closed along the protest route.
