Turkey will invite Egypt to the 13th Summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul on April 10-15, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç said Jan. 8, in spite of the poor ties between Ankara and Cairo.
At Least 16 People Killed in Molotov Cocktail Attack Targeting Cairo Nightclub
At least sixteen people were killed and another three injured in a Molotov cocktail attack targeting a nightclub in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Friday.
According to Cairo Post newspaper, three masked men threw the firebomb in the nightclub located in the Agouza area in the city centre and then fled the scene.

An Egyptian court Oct. 12 ordered the release of ousted president Hosni Mubarak's two sons who were sentenced to three years in jail for corruption, a judicial official and their lawyer said.
Military courts jail 666 Egyptians in August: Rights group
A total of 666 civilians were tried and imprisoned by military courts in Egypt last month, a rights group has said.
