A pioneering deep technology factory is providing a new avenue for entrepreneurs, SMEs and innovators to transform their ideas into tangible products.

The primary mission of the factory is to empower those with innovative ideas by providing easy and free access to production and analytical tools in the emerging field of "deep technology."

The four-wheeled prototype device measures just 10 mm (0.4 in) per side, and tips the scales at about 1 gram (0.04 oz)

A new high-tech development and design center established at Karatay University in central Turkey with EU funds promises prototyping, validation and testing processes in the production industry's research and development (R&D) projects.

The RogLab project is a part of the Rog factory, an important industrial centre in the past, that will be turned into a modern creative space.

"They won't have a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal... because they don't need them. Our software and sensors do all the work,"  the company said in a blog post Tuesday night.
