The Army Have Joined the Efforts to Extinguish the Big Fire along the Bulgarian Border with Serbia
The army, with Mi-17 helicopters, have joined the efforts to extinguish the big fire along the ridge of the Balkan Range which has spread to the territory of neighbouring Serbia, BNR reported.
Second Large Wild Fire in Rila Mountains
Another big wild fire broke out in Bulgaria's Rila Mountains. The fire started in a pine forest around 2:30 pm on October 28 above the village of Gorno Kraishte in Belitsa municipality. Dense black smoke rises above the forest, and large flames can be seen. Several firefighting teams are on site, BNT reported.

Abandoned Baby Found in Sofia's Lyulin Neighborhood
An abandoned baby was found last night in the capital's Lyulin neighborhood. The baby is about 7-8 months of age and in good health.
The baby was found in a child car seat with a note - "Give it to the social. Good luck!". She was taken over by the services and housed in the St. Ivan Rilski Home for Social Care in Sofia.
There Are Still 240 Tourists in Bulgaria after the Bankruptcy of Thomas Cook
Only 240 tourists who have arrived in Bulgaria through the bankrupt tourist operator "Thomas Cook" have stayed in the resorts "Golden Sands" and "Sunny Beach". This was stated by the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova.
She added that in the coming days they will also leave for their places of origin. Angelkova reminded that their costs were borne by the respective insurers.
