The relations between the State Security and the world-renowned philosopher and writer Julia Kristeva appear to be just like a cat and mouse game in the 1970s, according to documents released yesterday by the Dossier Commission.

Unprecedentedly, for the first time since its creation, the Dossier Commission began publishing the dossier of Agent Sabina on its website, behind the alias is the world-renowned philosopher Julia Kristeva.

The philosopher Julia Kristeva, who has lived in France since 1966, denied being a member of the Bulgarian intelligence services at the time of communism. She did so in a statement to the French weekly L'Obs, which claims to have found her secret agent form, the France press reported.

Renowned Bulgarian-French philosopher and linguist Julia Kristeva denied claims by a Bulgarian government-appointed committee that she was a Communist-era agent of the State Security apparatus.

The government-appointed Committee for Disclosing the Documents and Announcing the Affiliation of Bulgarian Citizens to the State Security and Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian National Army alleged on Tuesday that Julia Kristeva was an agent of the Communist-era security apparatus.

The world-renowned philosopher, psychologist, linguist and researcher, Julia Krasteva, was a collaborator of the First State Department of Foreign Intelligence with the alias Sabina, reports Kapital. 

A film about the great French thinker, coming from Bulgaria, Julia Krusteva will be presented during the Festival Master of Art for documentaries on April 20 in Sofia.
