Nearly 1,850 coronavirus cases confirmed as epidemic continues to recede

Ljubljana – A total of 1,847 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, a daily drop of 5% and a weekly drop of 18%, show the figures the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) released on Wednesday. 28% of all PCR tests came back positive, a weekly drop of around 4 percentage points. 16 Covid-19 patients died.

EODY: 81 COVID-19 deaths, 5,899 new infections in last 24 hours, 709 intubated

The National Public Health Organisation has announced 81 COVID-19 deaths (95.4 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older) and 5,899 newly confirmed infections (seven detected at points of entry into the country) in the last 24 hours.

The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Greece since the start of the pandemic is 18,901.

EODY: 99 COVID-19 deaths, 7,000 infections in last 24 hours, 697 intubated patients

The National Public Health Organisation announced that 99 patients have died of COVID-19 and 7,009 new infections (a 0.8 percent daily rise) have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.

The news infections (a 0.7 percent daily rise) - seven were detected at points of entry into the country - bring the number of confirmed infections in Greece to 978,402 (50.5 percent men).

The National Public Health Organisation (EODY) has confirmed 116 COVID-19 deaths and 4,943 infections (seven detected at points of entry into the country) in the last 24 hours.

The total number of infections recorded since the start of the pandemic is 971,148 (with a daily rise of 0.5 percent). Slightly over 50 percent are men.

The National Public Health Organisation has announced 8,100 newly confirmed COVID-19 infections (a daily increase of 0.9 percent) and 91 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Of the new infections, ten were detected at points of entry into the country. There have been 894,555 confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic (50.6 percent men).
